Teapots for me are a form that connects an image to everyday life, to the scale and concerns of bodies and houses and the connections between people. Since all human matters are rooted here, my images can draw from all of my experience and observations. I try to catch the excitement and pain of being consciously alive. The meeting place of the two feels powerfully human to me.
