Whimsy 1 is a lidded hollow form. Its fun face is carved and burned following the grain of the Copper Beech. It was inspired by holiday seasons with cross cultural influences. It was made prior to the passing of my wonderful wife in late December and is now an homage to her inspiring my creativity.
