Where tides and currents struggle for supremacy whirlpools develop, both beautiful and occasionally terrifying. The many colors of water in motion provide the inspiration for this turned, carved and colored suspended vase. The vessel and support have been dyed black and the grain enhanced with acrylic colors. The feature area has been colored with brush applied acrylics.
