About ten years ago I started wood turning, naturalshapes have always attracted me.  I turn the local woods that my region, la Bretagne, gives me. I turn the wood “green” (that means fresh) and it is a real pleasure to see my pieces develop and evolve during the drying process. Preferably I leave my parts natural or just oiled so that the wood continues to live. Surprises while drying are most often pleasant. My pieces are made for the pleasure of the eyes and for touching feeling, you have to hold them in your hands. The "crooked view" (“vue de travers”) or other way of seeing a tree will evolve, and other pieces, larger but also smaller, will be added to those already existing.
