From my early career in a sign shop to the 20 years I spent designing packaging equipment and the plants they operated in, and the past 15 years as an artist of wood, designing and creating have always played a central role in my life. My love affair with wood began in the early 60’s after seeing one of Henry Moore’s sculptures at the Seattle World’s Fair. Ever since then I have been aiming to show it at its best by pushing its limits and combining it with other natural and man made materials, I am always striving to refine my techniques and to learn new ones.
