Wood Symphony Gallery is pleased to present Michael Gibson's solo exhibition. This exhibition features over thirty incredible pieces created by the artist over the past years.

Michael Gibson is a renowned woodturner who lives and creates in Hoschton, Georgia. However, Gibson's career as a woodturner began in England. He was a teenager when he started working in the boatyards in England making wooden yachts. According to the artist this is where his love of wood started and continues to this day. He loves the texture, the feel, and grain, which is different in every piece of wood.

 

Michael Gibson's whimsical teapots are famous throughout the world. Being an Englishmen, he always liked teapots, and enjoys making them. Gibson is also in high demand as a teacher, and his wonderful techniques are taught to students from around the world. His work has been published in many journals nationally and internationally. Gibson's work has garnered the attention of many collectors and has been included in corporate and private collections.

 

We are pleased to share with you a survey of Michael Gibson's work, which includes some of his finest pieces that are outstanding examples of the artist’s signature style.
