Dick Kelly has a BFA in Advertising Design. His first work as a crafts maker was as a silver and goldsmith in the Southwestern contemporary designs during the 1970’s. He resumed his work in fine crafts with wood flatwork and carving after her retired in 2001. He started turning in 2006. Dick combines turning and carving. His pieces often incorporate colorful, whimsical designs that reflect his love of the small creatures we share our lives with.
